Upper School Holds Annual Clubs and Affinity Group Fair

On the morning of September 27th, the Upper School community gathered in the courtyard for the long awaited Clubs and Affinity Group Fair. Despite the cloudy weather, the Upper School was festive with chatter as students showcased their leadership and plans for the upcoming months.

This year, there are over 60 academic, service, recreational, and affinity groups on campus for students to explore. Some examples include the Science Bowl Club, Tartan Speech Club, Robotics, Model United Nations, and Recyclers Club.

The annual Clubs Fair gives students the opportunity to sign up for groups on campus they would like to join (though this is often done with a bribe of candy). The Upper School courtyard was adorned with colorful posters, candy wrappers, sign up sheets, and trifolds galore. The Margazine informed people of its work and distributed newspaper style crossword puzzles for students to solve.

This successful event marks the start to a busy year of club meetings, activities, fundraisers, and competitions. We look forward to seeing what the many student groups will accomplish in the 2024-2025 school year.
